Opinião:
Já tinha imenso tempo que eu não lia uma distopia, voltei ao género com este primeiro volume de uma saga de três livros. No meu ver, podia aproveitar esta oportunidade e completar o desafio de ler uma trilogia durante o ano.

A narrativa decorre numa época pré-apocalíptica, na qual todos têm pesadelos recorrentes que lhes mostram quando será o derradeiro dia: 23 de Abril. A esperança, o bom senso e a humanidade das pessoas "saiu de cena" e o que sobrou é a tenebrosa realidade descrita.

A Rain e o Wes têm personalidades completamente opostas mas fazem um casal que se completa.

Achei a história cativante, repleta de acção, foram muitos acontecimentos em tão pouco tempo e várias cenas sensuais e bem descritivas. No final ficamos com um cliffhanger muito inesperado.
